A: For the best result, yes – especially for uneven hems, pleats, or when you’ll wear specific shoes.
Do you alter all types of skirts?
A: Yes. We alter most skirt styles, including pencil, A-line, pleated, midi, maxi, and formal skirts.
Can you make a skirt bigger?
A: Where fabric allowance allows, we can let skirts out. This will be assessed during your consultation. We may be able to add panels to let out the waist.
Can you make a skirt smaller and keep the original look?
A: That’s usually the goal – we aim for discreet seams and matched finishing.
Do I need to book an appointment?
A: You’re welcome to pop in, but an appointment is best – it lets us set aside dedicated fitting time and have the right tailor ready when you arrive.
