Bespoke & Made-to-Measure Chinos and Casual Trousers

Tailor measuring fabric and finishing made-to-measure bespoke trousers at City Tailors

The pair you reach for most – but made properly

Chinos and smart-casual trousers are often the most-worn pieces in a wardrobe, which is exactly why fit matters.

We build chinos and casual trousers made-to-measure (and offer true bespoke when needed) so the waist sits comfortably, the seat is balanced, and the leg line looks clean.

Made-to-Measure: consistent comfort and a sharp line

We start with a trusted trouser block, then refine the rise, waist, seat and leg shape through fittings.

Choose a cleaner taper, a straight leg, or a relaxed fit – we’ll advise what suits your build and how you dress.

True Bespoke: drafted from scratch for tricky fits or special designs

If you have difficult fit challenges (strong posture differences, unusual proportions) or want a very specific design, we can draft a bespoke pattern from scratch.

A: Yes – many clients do a ‘core’ fit first, then order extra pairs in different colours or fabrics.

How long does it take?

A: Typically 8-12 weeks for made-to-measure, depending on cloth and schedule.
